Some times you’re just happy you showed up.
As an athlete I learnt that not every workout is going to be amazing. There are ones that you’re exhausted before you even start or you can’t clock the times you did last week. But those are the times that force you to show up and dig deep. Those are the ones that you finish and think “was tough but I was tougher”.
Now, I know my times are much slower, and the workouts are much easier, but the mental cues and physical strain are still there and I’m so glad I’m equipped with the mental skills to navigate the uncomfortable 🥴😅
